WA led the nation in increases in average home prices last quarter as three cuts in the official cash rate by the Reserve Bank and limited stock keep the flames burning under a red-hot property market
Average prices in WA were up 2.3 per cent – or $20,200 – from $877,300 to $897,500 between March and June, according to data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics this week.
Continually increasing since the quarter ending December 2022, it’s a new record high for the average dwelling price in WA and the biggest quarterly percentage increase nationally.
