Course Summary
Foundations of Property Development – Townhomes and Apartments provides a practical end-to-end introduction to planning, designing, assessing and delivering quality medium and higher density residential development, in infill areas and as part of new communities.

- Individuals new to built form development or wanting to understand what makes townhome and apartment projects stack up;
- Assistant and Development Managers or Project Managers working on residential built form projects;
- Town planners, architects, engineers, urban designers and other consultants supporting planning, design, approvals or delivery;
- Local and state government employees involved in the assessment and approval of townhome and apartment projects;
- Those involved in project financing that want a better understanding of built form considerations.

Session 8: A Precinct Perspective (Medium Density)
Day 2 – Tuesday 1 December 2026
Session 9: High Density Done Well – Apartment Design
Session 10: Delivering Residential Built Form – Construction Principles and Practical Considerations
Session 11: Infrastructure, Servicing and Utilities
Session 12: A Local Government Perspective
Session 13: Marketing 101 – Product Positioning and Sales
Session 14: Half-Day Site Tour (participants must make their own travel arrangements)
