Most West Australians believe Perth property prices will continue rising, with nearly seven in ten people surveyed expecting values to increase over the rest of the year.

The UDIA Urbis Home Purchaser Sentiment Survey of 502 adults showed 69 per cent expected property price increases over the next six month when polled in May.

UDIA chief executive Tanya Steinbeck said it showed a promising boost in confidence in the WA market, after rising from just 16 per cent anticipating price rises when surveyed at the same time last year.
