Perth is officially the most affordable capital city to buy a block of land.
After being usurped by Adelaide last year, Perth is once again a bargain-hunters’ dream, with a median new land price of $228,000.
This compares to an eye-watering average price of $716,381 in Sydney and $382,125 in Melbourne and is a staggering 42 per cent lower than the combined capital city average of $391,546.
