Western Australians have always loved the double brick home, however, new findings by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) points towards a potential new future.

The Modern Methods of Housing Construction report revealed there were long-term benefits to increasing the use of modern methods of housing construction in the Perth market.

The report outlines a cost benefit analysis undertaken by Ernst and Young, which examines modern methods of construction compared with double brick construction.
