Land sales in Western Australia are continuing to rise, with a record volume of lots sold in 2024. 

New data from the Urban Development Institute of Australia WA showed that 11,168 lots sold in the Perth metropolitan area last year, a 38.5 per cent increase on 2023. 

This exceeds the previous high of 10,189 lots in 2013. 

The 2024 figure is 53 per cent above the decade average and more than double the 5,899 lots sold in the 12 months to June 2023. 

Average lot prices in Perth have increased to a new peak of $339,849, which is 29 per cent above 2023 levels.
