The World Health Organization has announced that COVID-19 is a pandemic.

Current Alert Status: Active

Following a sustained and better than expected decline in the number of new COVID-19 cases the Federal Government took the decision to relax certain social distancing restrictions through the release of a three step plan. This is to be used as a framework to guide the response from State and Territories.

On Sunday 11 May the WA State Government released its own four-phase plan for relaxing restrictions with a focus on measures that provide the greatest benefits to the economy with the least risk to future outbreaks. UDIA WA will continue to monitor the progress of the relaxations and will update the below pages accordingly.

See below for the latest on these recovery plans as well as the latest stimulus measures and health advice in place from the Federal and Western Australian State Governments.
