Andrew is a natural problem solver with a desire to reduce tedious tasks and error prone human error through smart systems and automation.  He enjoys exploring problem spaces, learning the core issues, and working on solutions to address them. He prefers to understand the core mechanics of the technology involved to better address issues or identify how they can be adapted beyond ‘Out-of-the-box’ functionality.

With nearly 25 years of IT experience in multidisciplinary engineering organisations, he is known for translating complex technology landscapes into simple, durable operating systems that enable growth, resilience, and scale.

Herbie’s defining strength is not technology alone, but judgement – knowing what to modernise, what to retire, and what to leave untouched to maximize business outcomes. He operates comfortably at board level while retaining comprehensive technical and practical understanding of infrastructure, security, and delivery realities.
