UDIA WA is working hard on behalf of our members and the wider development industry to ensure it remains an essential and important part of the economic recovery both during and after COVID-19. As part of this we are keeping in regular contact with our members through pulse surveys and using this to guide our advocacy efforts now and into the future.

Ready to Rebuild

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic UDIA WA produced ‘Ready to Rebuild’ which set out a clear set of priorities for government to support jobs and a stronger economy post COVID-19 and outlined our recommendations to State Government on how to assist our industry and the broader economic recovery following the impacts of COVID-19.

Our ‘Ready to Rebuild’ actions clearly map out priorities for the State Government to consider to keep the development industry operating and to transition successfully into a strong recovery.

We specifically look at how to stimulate the economyprioritise infrastructure investment and cut red tape.

The actions that we recommend are rational, well considered opportunities to minimise the impact of COVID-19 on our industry and the broader economy.
