UDIA PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM; SPECIALISING IN PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
WA INDUSTRY SPECIFIC
This in-house six day program is specifically designed for the Western Australian context and introduces participants to the various areas of knowledge required to operate effectively in our local residential development industry.
Learn to define and manage projects, while becoming familiar with terminology from the broad range of disciplines and concepts involved in property development.
Gain a practical understanding of the tools needed to navigate through complex development processes and the different roles within a project team
Led by experienced presenters from the WA property development industry, the course provides practical lessons on how to manage the project life-cycle and understand the principles of commercial awareness, time, quality and cost.
Delegates can complete the just modules that best apply to them, or complete the full 6 day course.
ALIGNED WITH SWINBURNE UNIVERSITY
The UDIA Professional Development Program is aligned to the BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management delivered by Swinburne University of Technology.
This means that upon completion of the full six-day course, participants may submit their portfolios of evidence and apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), to be awarded the Diploma of Project Management delivered by Swinburne.
Upon successful completion of the RPL process, the Diploma of Project Management delivered by Swinburne will be awarded to the participant without any further study required.
The Diploma of Project Management delivered by Swinburne is also endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management.
BUILT FORM DEVELOPMENT; A UDIA WA 2 DAY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE
This course teaches the practical elements of residential built form development; from site identification, feasibility analysis and assumptions, product design, and demographic analysis, to the delivery, titling, contracting and sales and marketing. Real life examples, and plenty of life lessons, make this an excellent course for anybody wanting to get into medium to high density development, for those that are already in the industry wanting to grow their knowledge base, or for those that service the industry and wish to better understand a developers assumptions.

This masterclass is tailored to the local development industry and presented by a leading industry practitioner.
